1. Gelar Sarjana dengan Honours dalam bidang studi terkait
2. Gelar Sarjana dalam bidang relevan yang disetujui oleh Senat
3. Kualifikasi setara lainnya dengan bidang studi yang relevan juga dapat dipertimbangkan (untuk persetujuan oleh Senat)
Doctor of Philosophy (Ilmu Matematika)
1. Gelar Master dalam bidang studi yang relevan
2. Kandidat Master di UTAR yang telah berhasil memperoleh persetujuan untuk konversi untuk program PhD
3. Kualifikasi setara lainnya dengan bidang studi lainnya yang relevan juga dapat dipertimbangkan (untuk persetujuan oleh Senat)
Persyaratan Bahasa Inggris:
- Ijazah S1
- Nilai tes TOEFL berbasis Kertas : > 580
- Nilai tes TOEFL berbasis Komputer: > 237
- Nilai tes International English Language Testing System (IELTS): > 6.5
