About

The medical industry is continually evolving, and new technology is being developed that has the potential to totally transform how treatments are administered. Biomedical engineering technology has been responsible for some of the most exciting medical technology developments, and it is also one of the fastest expanding sectors in medicine and technology.
At UoC, you will be exposed to and experience a wide range of medical devices and equipment, such as patient monitors, electrocardiographs, infusion devices, ventilators, patient-care computers, and other related devices.
Their Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering Technology (Honours) programme is approved by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and recognised by the Sydney Accord. The programme has been accredited for six years, demonstrating its major impact on the quality and standards of education. The Sydney Accord is an international agreement that recognises the equivalence of engineering technology academic programs, ensuring that graduates from member nations have comparable skills and qualifications.
