The Pharmaceutical Chemistry programme at IMU is designed to meet rigorous international standards. It is recognised by the University of Sydney for credit exemption in its two-year Master of Pharmacy programme and allows for credit transfer to the University of Dundee. Additionally, this programme is accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), United Kingdom—one of the world’s leading chemistry communities and professional bodies dedicated to advancing excellence in chemical sciences.
As the first university in Malaysia to offer a specialised undergraduate degree in pharmaceutical chemistry, IMU provides a comprehensive and industry-focused education. The programme is accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and recognised by Institut Kimia Malaysia (IKM). Graduates of this programme are eligible to register as Chemists with IKM, further enhancing their professional credentials.
With a 16-week industrial attachment, IMU ensures that students gain invaluable real-world experience and develop strong professional networks. Persyaratan masuk Mahasiswa:
- Pelamar/ Calon mahasiswa harus memiliki catatan akademik nilai ujian yang tinggi, diploma, foundation atau setara, dalam mata pelajaran terkait dan dalam pemenuhan patokan IMU.
Persyaratan Bahasa:
- Nilai keseluruhan IELTS band 6.5
- Mahasiswa yang memilih opsi luar negeriharus mencapai nilai IELTS band secara keseluruhan 7.0
- Semua mahasiswa yang terdaftar diwajibkan untuk mengambil tes diagnostik bahasa dari IMU
