About

SEGi University proudly offers the Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with Honours, a meticulously designed programme aimed at shaping the next generation of engineers. This degree bridges innovation and tradition, equipping students with the expertise needed to excel in industries ranging from oil and gas to sustainable energy management.  

SEGi University’s curriculum is globally recognised and deeply integrated with real-world applications. Students will develop a strong foundation in mass and energy balances, process design, and plant operations, gaining essential knowledge to navigate the complexities of chemical engineering.  

A key feature of this programme is its strong alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, with a particular emphasis on SDG 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, and 13. Additionally, students gain hands-on experience through industrial and IR4.0-driven projects, benefiting from mentorship by external industry professionals.  

Accredited by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), this programme serves as more than just an academic qualification—it is a gateway to lifelong learning and a successful career in chemical engineering.  

Graduates of SEGi University’s Bachelor of Chemical Engineering programme can pursue diverse career paths, including roles as Process Engineers, Environmental Engineers, and professionals in chemical manufacturing, oil and gas, consultancy, energy management, water treatment, materials development, and industrial design.
