About Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT)
Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) adalah institusi pendidikan pertama dengan keunggulan lebih dari empat dekade dalam menyediakan pendidikan yang berkualitas dan terjangkau. Dikenal sebagai Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TARC) sejak berdiri tahun 1969, institusi ini telah ditingkatkan menjadi University College di tahun 2013. Dengan adanya peningkatan ini, TAR UC dapat menawarkan gelar Bachelor dan program pasca-sarjana. TAR UC menerima subsidi/dana dari pemerintah yang menjadikan University College ini dapat menyediakan pendidikan yang terjangkau kepada seluruh warga negara Malaysia.
Kini, TAR UC memiliki populasi mahasiswa yang berkembang sebanyak 28,000 yang mengikuti lebih dari 100 program studi yang beragam di empat kampus Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor dan Perak dan juga dua cabang fakultas di Pahang dan Sabah.
TAR UC didukung oleh 6 fakultas untuk program sarjana, antara lain Faculty of Applied Sciences (FOAS), Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (FOCS), Faculty of Accountancy, Finance and Business (FAFB), Faculty of Engineering (FOEN), Faculty of Built Environment (FOBE) dan Faculty of Social Science, Arts and Humanities (FSAH). Terdapat juga Centre for Pre-University Studies dan yang terbaru, Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research, yang menawarkan program Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science (Life Sciences) dan Master of Science (Physical Science).
TAR UC telah dikenal baik dalam skala lokal maupun internasional di antara persaudaraan akademik dan badan-badan profesional. Accommodation
University College ini memiliki akomodasi hostel 5 lantai yang terdiri dari 10 blok yang berlokasi di area kampus. Akomodasi hostel yang berbasis twin-sharing ini dilengkapi dengan kasur, lemari, dan meja belajar. Fasilitas yang tersedia antara lain ruang belajar yang ber-AC dengan internet, toko kebutuhan dan stationary, kafetaria, laundry, dispenser air, ATM, telefon umum dan fasilitas parkir untuk kendaraan. Terdapat juga layanan keamanan 24 jam.
Selain itu, University College ini juga menawarkan akomodasi di luar kampus dengan tempat tinggal untuk mahasiswa yang berada di Danau Kota, hanya berjarak 3km dari kampus utama KL. Teratai Residency adalah bangunan 28 lantai yang terdiri dari 448 unit dengan pilihan kamar ber-AC atau tanpa AC di masing-masing unit. Fasilitas yang tersedia di Teratai Residency ini mencakup gymnasium, kolam-renang, aula, taman barbecue, kafetaria, ruang belajar, convenience store dan toko alat tulis, mushola, dispenser air, dan laundry.
Mahasiswa internasional yang tertarik dengan akomodasi yang berada di area kampus harus mengisi dan mengirimkan form Hostel Application ke International Student Office sesegera mungkin, karena hostel diberikan kepada siapa yang terlebih dahulu mendaftar.
Mahasiswa internasional yang tertarik dengan akomodasi yang berada di luar kampus boleh memilih akomodasi yang cocok dengan kebutuhannya dari pilihan akomodasi tempat tinggal yang berada di sekitar lingkungan University College. Ada apartemen, kondominium dan rumah yang dapat disewa.

Kampus utama Kuala Lumpur TAR UC, terletak di Jalan Genting Kelang, Setapak, terbentang seluas 186 hektar. Mempersatukan alam dengan kemodernan, kampus unggulan ini memberikan para siswanya taman hijau yang subur yang didukung oleh gazebo, pergola dan taman, serta fasilitas-fasilitas modern yang mendorong pengalaman belajar yang unik dan menginspirasi.

Kampus utama KL TAR UC terletak di Jalan Genting Kelang, Setapak. Kampus ini berjarak 8km dari kota Kuala Lumpur. Menghabiskan lahan seluar 186 hektar, desain dan lingkungan kampus ini sangat mendukung untuk belajar dan santai. Kampusnya yang naik turun karena terdiri dari beberapa tingkat telah dipertahankan untuk membaur dengan lingkungan alam sekitar.
Berjalan-jalan juga sangat mudah menggunakan transportasi umum seperti Light Rail Transit (LRT), jalan tol dan middle-ring yang memudahkan akses menuju kampus. Kompleks-kompleks pusat perbelanjaan besar seperti Jaya Jusco, Carrefour, Giant, Wangsa Walk, KL Festival City dan tempat-tempat yang menarik seperti National Zoo, Batu Caves, Royal Selangor Pewter dan Lake Titiwangsa juga berada di sekitaran. Daerah-daerah lokal juga menawarkan banyak hal seperti makanan Chinese, Malay, Indian, Thai dan Chinese.
