Sertifikat menyelesaikan sekolah menengah atas (Certificate of Unified Examination of Malaysia Independent Chinese Secondary School System (MICSS) - dengan tingkat A1/A2 (distinction) sampai B3/B4/B5/B6 (credit)
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) - dengan tingkatan 1 sampai 4 (dari 10) atau
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokesyenal (SPMV) - dengan tingkatan 1,2 atau 3
Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) - dengan tingkatan A, B atau C
- Rata-rata 4.5 untuk CanTEST, yang diadakan Universitas Saint Mary atau Universitas Ottawa, dengan nilai masing-masing tidak kurang dari 3.5
- Menyelesaikan level paling tinggi dalam program English for Academic purposes di pusat TESL, Universitas Saint Mary
- Minimal nilai 550 untuk Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) yang diadakan oleh Educational Testing Service
